Distance and courses:

Swim course: 1,5 km (2 laps)

From port beach Marquez

2 laps in front of port La Paz. Buoy circuit. Scarce current

Wetsuit or neoprene suit forbidden

Bike course: 40 km (6laps)

From Port La Paz and also arrival to the Port

6 laps of 6,600 mts per lap

The whole circuit takes place in the urban zone of La Paz

Traffic is closed. The circuit is flat with some slopes.

Asphalt in good conditions

Run course: 10 km (4 laps)

The whole circuit takes places in the neighbouring streets to the port.

4 laps of 2,500 mts per lap

The circuit is flat with some slopes.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

IMPORTANT: COMPULSARY THE REGISTRATION FOR ELITE MUST BE DONE THROUGH ITU (INERNATIONAL TRIATHLON UNION) AND WITH THE INTERVENTION OF EACH COUNTRY FEDERATION THE ATHLETE BELONGS TO.

THE REGISTRATIONS THAT WON´T BE DONE THROUGH THE MENTIONED WAY WILL BE ABSOLUTELY INVALIDATED AND REJECTED BY THIS ORGANIZATION.

BANK DEPOSITS ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR THE ELITE ATHLETLES FOR THE COMPETITION, THE FEE OF THE COMPETITION WILL BE PAID ONLY IN LA PAZ CITY AT THE MOMENT OF THE FINAL REGISTRATION UNTIL JANUARY 16TH 9 PM.

REGISTRATION FEES

The fee to be paid by the Elite athletes will be of:

USS 150 (one hundred and fifty American dollars)

Or the same amount in Argentinian pesos according to the daily currency.

Kit

It includes: T-shirt, swimming cap,timing chip, certificate, Pasta party ticket, tourist information leaflets.

Classification System with chips

In this edition Elite as well as Age groups will have the benefits of the System of classification and record of total time and partials with Classification computarized system. (chips)

3rd 500 USD
4th 375 USD
5th 250 USD

20 hs Briefing, mandatory only for Elite athletes at Social Club San Martin 800 (opposite the main square)

Entry Fee:

Morning and afternoon: Recognition circuit- Sole responsability of each triathlete
21 hs: PASTA PARTY LA PAZ 2015- Carbohydrates Night Dinner at the Municipal multipurpose room
21 hs Registration and confirmation of participants deadline. Payment of fees.
22 hs: Pre thriatlon Parade- Parade of Nations- Parade of triathles throught the streets of the city.
SATURDAY 18
From 14 hs: Age groups, youth and promotional races.
20 hs Briefing, mandatory only for Elite athletes at Social Club San Martin 800 (opposite the main square)
23 hs: “Pan American Triathlon big night” Award ceremony and fireworks
SUNDAY 19
13.15 hs: Open transition area for Elite men and women
13.45: Official presentation of the Elite ladies triathles
14.00 hs start inernational triathlon – elite women- (from port beach Marquez)
16.30 Estimated completion of the women elite competition
16.30 thriathtles official presentation of male elite
16.45 Start international triathlon elite men (from port beach marquez)
18.30 Estimated completion time of the elite men competition.
19.30 Award ceremony/ Elite and under 23 (Local Port)
